Each holiday season, our Board members personally reach out to longtime library supporters with letters about our Annual Fund Drive. Their support helps the Marcellus Free Library continue providing programs, services, and resources for our community.

Want to support your library? Join our Annual Fund Drive and become a contributor! Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.

Our Friends group maintains the Book Nook, a year-round book sale in the library. Donations of books or DVDs in good condition are always welcome.

Honor a loved one with a lasting memorial in the Marcellus Free Library’s Friends Community Room. Memorial plaques are gold-plated and provide a meaningful way to recognize and remember someone who has made a difference in your life or in our community.

A donation of $500 or more is required for a memorial plaque.

At the end of each quarter, we recognize the individuals, families, and organizations who have made monetary donations to the Marcellus Free Library in our newsletter.

Donors who contribute $250 or more receive an asterisk (*) next to their name as a special acknowledgment of their generous support.

We also recognize our Summer Reading Partners and Fall Fundraiser Sponsors in the newsletter by featuring their business or organization logo as a thank-you for their support of the library and our community.

Each fall, the Marcellus Free Library hosts our annual fundraiser to celebrate the library, build community connections, and raise funds to support our programs and services.

Event Sponsorships
Local businesses, organizations, and community members can support the fundraiser through a variety of sponsorship levels. Sponsors are recognized as supporters of the library and our community throughout the event and in promotional materials.

Basket Raffle Sponsorships
We also welcome sponsors for our popular basket raffle! Businesses and organizations can donate a themed basket or contribute toward a basket. Basket sponsors will be recognized during the raffle and in our event materials.

We welcome local businesses, organizations, and community members who would like to support the event as a sponsor. Interested in becoming a sponsor? Please contact Library Director at sbrandt@onlib.org for more information.

Every summer, the Marcellus Free Library hosts our Summer Reading Program for all ages, encouraging children, teens, and adults in our community to discover the joy of reading.

Our Friends of the Library generously fund the majority of our summer programming, but we’re always looking for local businesses and community partners to help us get even more kids excited about reading!

Reading Incentive Partners
We can work with your business to create incentive coupons for our Summer Reading participants. Readers track and report their reading each week and receive an incentive coupon from a participating local business. It’s a fun way to encourage reading while introducing families to local businesses—and getting them out into the community!

Summer Reading Basket Donations
We’re also always looking for donations from local businesses to create our popular Summer Reading raffle baskets. Each week, we raffle off a basket in each age category for our summer readers. Consider donating products, gift cards, or other items from your business to help us create a basket!

Your support helps make Summer Reading special for our community and encourages kids to read, explore, and discover all summer long. Thank you for helping us spread the love of reading!
