Monday Memories: Reminiscence Group

Mondays, June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 | 10 AM–1 PM

Join caregivers and older adults—especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s—for a welcoming, relaxed program centered on connection and shared memories. Reminiscence kits with photos, objects, and prompts will be available to spark conversation, storytelling, and meaningful engagement.

Revolutionary Waterway: The Erie Canal & the American Revolution

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the Erie Canal Museum presents an educational talk exploring the connections between the American Revolution and the creation of the Erie Canal. Although the canal opened nearly 50 years after the Revolution began, this program examines how Revolutionary-era people, places, and ideas shaped one of the nation’s most influential public works.
